PORT QUINTA DOS MATTOS 1970
Technical wine sheet
Visiting producer Coimbra de Mattos is almost a lesson in the history of the Douro. Its cellars, where its best wines have been kept since time immemorial, are living libraries of the great years that marked the best that this region has to offer. These raw materials are judiciously used in somewhat generous doses - they can be - for the exclusive production of their rich Tawny, in this case in the rich 1970.
This Tawny Valriz 1970 presents us with a beautiful Brown color with green notes. On the nos complex and intense aroma, notes of dried fruits like figs and almonds, honey, curry and wood. Very balanced in the mouth, concentrated, good acidity, nutty and spices.
